MODIS Animated Time Series

There are two satellites, Terra and Aqua, that use the MODIS instrument and the file names reflect the satellite from which the data are derived.Terra data are available from July, 2000 through 2005. Aqua data are provided from July, 2002 through the present. For more information on these satellites see the NASA Terra and Aqua websites.
